The Leadville Heap
(heap: def, a group of things gathered
haphazardly.)  
Welcome to the Heap.  This will be a
website source of all things Leadville.  We
will publish relevant articles about
happenings, recreation, tourism, history,
politics, and of course, opinions.  

We named this The Heap for two reasons:  
the first being the idea of a disorderly
accumulation of things - which we believe
epitomizes Leadville, and the second being
that heap is a synonym for mountain, which
is what Leadville is all about - our
gorgeous mountains and the mountain
lifestyle.

If you want to submit comments, articles,
pictures, events for consideration of
publication, there is a comment section
below to email us.  We will not promise to
publish everything, since this is our
website, and if you don't like our
opinions, you can publish your own website.
But we welcome all comments and will do our
utmost to include relevant information on
this site.
